Teaching teams are often expected to jump into the school year moving 100 miles an hour—setting up classrooms, supporting children and families, learning routines, and meeting expectations—without ever really having time to talk about how they are going to work together.
Then the communication challenges start.
Roles feel unclear. Teachers and paras may experience the partnership differently. Small frustrations build. Everyone is busy, and there never seems to be enough time to step back and work on the team itself.
Team Agreements for Teaching Teams gives classroom-based educators a place to do exactly that.
This ongoing Community of Practice is designed for teachers, co-teachers, assistant teachers, paraprofessionals, and other educators who want to build stronger, more intentional classroom teams.

Monthly Live Community of Practice
Join me and other educators once a month to work through the realities of implementation. We may talk about things like:
Building buy-in with classroom partners
Getting administrative support
Communicating when there never seems to be enough time
Navigating teacher/para dynamics
Clarifying roles and expectations
Introducing Team Agreements when you are not the person in charge
Handling breakdowns when agreements are not being followed
Celebrating what is working and deciding what comes next
The agenda is shaped by the real questions, challenges, and successes participants bring to the group.
Live Monthly Sessions
Live Community of Practice sessions are held once a month on Wednesday evenings from 6:00–7:00 PM Central.
Sessions are recorded for members who cannot attend live.
